The United States Courthouse in Camden, NJ was originally built in 1933 as part of the New Deal to combat the Great Depression. The Courthouse was greatly expanded in 2000 and renamed the Mitchel H. Cohen Building and United States Courthouse in honor of former Chief District Court Judge Mitchell H. Cohen, who presided in Camden.
